Jazzstory had great fun in Montreal and Wakefield. Hard to compare? Not really...the beauty was in the
differences. Montreal was a great venue, inside at the Musee Contemporain, with amazing sound. The big
city vibe is something we are all familiar with and one that is sometimes not as flattering in the heat waves.

(dont get me wrong, I always have fun in Montreal) But, the Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield Quebec is a little pub
in a country hotel by a river in the Gatineaus. Yes, I went swimming twice. It was great to have all the folks
come up from Ottawa. Something nice about playing on a small stage in a bar, great vibe!

Really looking forward to my first visit to St. Johns Newfoundland from JUly 11-16

p.s. the new show of Quebec Artists of 40s, 50s and 60s in the Musee is amazing!
