Do you want to let your candidates know that climate change is a key deciding issue for you this election?

Do it with one of our free "I'm voting for REAL Action on climate change" lawn signs! Go to the Voters Taking Action on Climate Change web site at http://www.vtacc.org to find out more about our volunteer, politically unaffiliated effort to make climate change a key issue at the ballot box next month. Look on the left hand side of the home page under Real Action Lawn Signs to read more. If you want a sign, we'll send or deliver one or more to you ASAP -- anywhere in the Canada. Once your sign is proudly planted, put up a picture and your call for action on our web-based climate action map of Canada, also on the home page of our site.

We can't afford more years of political indifference on climate change. Please let friends, family and colleagues who care about climate change know about this chance to make their voices heard this election.
Regards, Andrea, Quincy and the VTACC team

hello hello hello. Just some random thoughts for you today as I have a minute before I go to play the banjo on my porch (while the kids watch saturday cartoons!)

Tomorrow is international Care Free day. Yes, I just booked a car from Autoshare to go and visit my Dad and his wife in Burlington. I don't feel horrible about this or anything but would like to have been able to both visit them and partake in some of the celebrations here downtown on this special day.

Also today downtown (at Yonge and Dundas Square) there is a bunch of free new music that is happening including Eve Egoyan and the Lollipop People. More info at contactcontemporarymusic.ca (no time for links today)

Personally, I am looking forward to going banjo/guitar shopping with my friend Gerri for a bit this afternoon followed by dinner with my family at our kids fave restaurant.

And, finally last night I quite enjoyed the documentary about the famous songwriter Townes Van Zandt and I look forward to buying some of his music in the near future.

over and out and up!
