I have been meaning to post this for weeks. If you are in Toronto. Try driving (perhaps biking or walking would be as good
or better!) west-bound from Bathurst on the Lakeshore towards the Exhibition grounds. You look straight ahead and can
see the big windmill through the Princess gates. I usually do it around 12:45 pm and the lighting is quite exquisite. It is
truly beautiful and my hat is off to all the people involved.

I have been listening to The Roots a lot lately. It makes me think what an interesting art form recordings are. One may choose
to capture a performance in a digital or analog format or one may choose to organize sounds (ie., perform, overdub, edit
mix, enhance....etc.) in a desirable fashion to make music that is beautiful. Perhaps this is all very obvious. It is on my mind
as my new recording (have been mixing this week) is a bit of both. I think my favourite recordings are usually a bit of both.
Even if you are capturing a live performance. Attention to detail in the sound quality can make or break whether it is a great
recording or just another good recording to add to the pile. Any thoughts? tposgate@interlog.com

One of the things I really don't like about being busy is not being able to go see my friends gigs. David Occhipinti and Lina
Allemano both just finished at the Senator and I missed them...Brodie West and his tasty treats, Myk Freedman....damn...the
list goes on. I am not sure how some folks stay home all the time. Perhaps they are busy too! I think going to hear each
other's gigs is not only really fun but also really important.

Wow, I have been so busy my blog has even been neglected!
