Thats it, thats all she wrote! What a tour...wow. I am lucky to work with Jean, Lina and Rob (I know they dont read this blog...oh well) Jazzstory is at a really good place if you ask me. It is time to make a new record as we have lots of new material (I think someone asked me every night which record our new tune "the big push" is on! and have hit a new level of group playing.

this tour had many highlights...most of them had to do with the great friends we met or old friends we visited. It was very social and I love that! This last part in Halifax was great. The big roots concert on the 23 was very exciting and I was proud to be a part of it. Way to go Andrew Downing and Susan Hunter!!

I met so many interesting artists from coast to coast. Lots of hanging (heck...I had breakfast this morning with my two boys and Rene Lussier...how cool is that?)

Michel Deveau (house DJ) and I are even talking about making a record.(on vinyl even!!) I never thought I would make a dance record...life is exciting!

Thanks to the Canada Council for making it possible and thanks to Julie for holding down the fort while I was away.

Lots of big projects coming up this year...cant wait!!

Stay in touch ok?

Hi all. Jazzstory did our last show of our Canadian tour, here last night in Halifax. Very cool venue called the Bella Muse. It was a really fun gig too, as we had Kenny Kirkwood and David Mott both sitting in.

I am really looking forward to the Roots show on the 23. I rehearsed with DJ Michel Deveau today and I am starting to think that my piece is going to be quite interesting. I will cross my fingers...what is the transposition for Alto Sax again?....haha

drop me a line ok? tim@guildwoodrecords.com
