Unfortunately I didn't make it to the Guelph Festival this year. I had"my own" festival at the Red guitar. the music was great and some nights were well attended too.
I got to hear all the groups which was a nice treat and playing with Rene Lussier and tony Wilson was an extra special treat. I look forward to hearing the recording. (thanks to Ted Phillips!!)
Last night was a treat to hear Veryan Weston. He is a great pianist that played an eclectic set including Ives, Sate, American folk tunes etc. He also sang with much passion and beauty (kind of like a non singer that you really like anyways!?)
This booking thing is starting to kill me. Way too many hours...starting to feel a little pressure (stress?) too which is something I take pride in having very little of.
The future of the club looks good and I need to figure out what part I am going to play in it. It is a great place to perform and listen at and I am very happy to be a part of it.

p.s. It was great hearing some of the Guelph Festival on CIUT this year too. Maybe there is hope over at CIUT yet!!!
