It is so corny sometimes when non writers (like me) talk about writing a book....ok...here goes:

Art and (of) Parenting

I have got the chapters worked out and everything. Heck...I got a lot done in my business (music) for
a guy that takes care of his kids full-time noƧ (yah, sure I m proud of it!)

So what are my secrets? Who wants to know?

Earlier today I was excited by the decision as to see either Kim Mitchel at the Hard Rock or Eve Egoyan
at the Glenn Gould. (I suppose I could have done both if made of money and free time)

Not a suprise, I am at home again with parenting being the major concern. ie...life: 2 Tim 0

Oh well. The good times outweigh the badtimes by far but that doesnt always make it easy.

when used properly, computers can be such a help in your creative endeavours. When used, improperly,
ie, not backed up, cleaned up, configured properly etc. they can slow things down to a halt.

I am just before the"halt."

It has also taken the fun out of communication and interaction with friends and email groups that I belong
too. (so much so that I have almost completely stopped communicating)

I am excited about getting a new one. (not looking forward to setting it all up etc.)

I should stop thinking and talking and just do it. Oh, if life were so easy.

have a good day. (go back up your computer files...do some computer housecleaning while you are at it!)

I do look forward to the first one as I havent had much chance to perform live lately, especially improvising.

wow, I am wasting so much time on the computer these days. I think I may have to break down and buy
a new one. Oh...more debt. yahhh.

I hate the idea of landfill sites full of old computers too.

Doug Sanders wrote a great article last saturday in the focus section of the Globe about why spam is not
a bad thing. very interesting.

If nothing else, it reminded me that there are always two sides to every story.
