Although there is much to write about in the exciting, inspiring early days of this new year I am thinking about hockey (again!).

Occasionally, I peruse the CBC job website and I noticed the opening for a new "head of CBC sports."

This led to a discussion in the dressing room yesterday (sorry to be repeating our dressing room banter guys!) about how TSN is going to bid on Hockey Night in Canada for the upcoming term. This makes me so angry and upset and worried.

I am not going to get into explaining, right now, why I think this is so terrible but I do want to get the idea going (if only in my own head and fingers) about starting a campaign and a petition to keep Hockey Night in Canada on CBC.

Any suggestions would be great. I am curious how this type of story will be dealt with by the CBC itself.
