Have you ever learned an Ornette tune? I am learning a few right now and boy is it fun. These songs are
infectious. Some of them are way more interesting when you get inside them, learn them, analyze a little.

I am reading the recent book about Ornette too. Sorry I forget the name. Email me if you really want to know it.

The forward is written by Pat Metheny and there is really good info on each record that Ornette has done.
