The WoodChopper's Association works with the intention of inspiring artistic excellence within our community and abroad.
We have performed/collaborated musically with the likes of the Nihilist Spasm band, Gordon Downie of the Tragically Hip, John Oswald of the CCMC, the Sun Ra Arkestra, Malian Griots: Mansa Sissoko, and Jah Youssouf, dancers: Yvonne Ng, and Andrea Nann, poets: Ken Babstock, and Chris Chambers, and film maker Steve Reinke. We have performed in clubs, theatres, loft spaces, schools, remote villages, on the streets, through web casts, on television, on radio broadcasts, for music and multi-media festivals, we have run music education workshops, multi-media arts festivals and done charitable work in Canada, the US and Africa. We have three cds available from zunior.com. We number over 400 members. Thanks for your support over the years.
